Current Points Standings: Second

That makes two podiums in a row for myself! This one being a lot more special than the one I had July 8th in NY. The reason for that is the adversity and challenges we had to overcome switching teams to the Estenson Racing Team, and jumping on Yamahas for the remainder of the season. Two short weeks ago I got ahold of the motorcycles, and started to feverishly work on them until the morning of the race day when the final part came in and the bikes were all finished up. Making the team switch was a big decision for me, but a good one that will help me out turning this into a career. I had never ridden a Yamaha YZ450F until Saturday  morning of the race, and first session out I was pretty nervous about the decision. My team and I worked together to get the bike to handle how I liked making a bunch of big changes. Going into the heat race I had no clue what the bike was gonna do exactly, and I had qualified the worst I have all year with a 15th. I was starting on row two, and I got a okay start but attacked the first lap harder then anybody putting myself into third place and finishing there. In the semi I got another okay start after some more bike changes the bike was amazing, and we challenged for the lead and ended up second in that race. In the main event I got off the line in third place and sat there the entire race. The top three pulled away from the rest of the field before two restarts where I  put myself in second place for half a lap. I ended up finishing third which was amazing from where we were two weeks ago, let alone a few hours ago in qualifying. This is just the beginning for me on the new Yamaha motorcycles, and it just shows where we will be after a few more races. We are back on track for the championship, and are currently sitting second in points with three races next week including two TT tracks. Thank you all for your support in helping me switch teams, and prepare to win this championship. We got this.
